Socioeconomic Challenges of Adolescents in Karalugwe, Adamawa State, Nigeria: A Qualitative Approach

The study explored socioeconomic challenges that adolescents in Karalugwe face as they grow up. These form a significant aspect of adolescents’ social progression and healthy development the pursuit their life’s ambition goals. Focus Group Discussion technique was used to generate responses from 33 adolescents, 15 males 18 females who were randomly selected for discussion. Responses recorded notebook analyzed which revealed both in-school out-of-school rural areas face. results have enormous difficulty accessing education, amenities, health care services, clean water security. concludes stiff resistance on path fulfilling ambition. In order equal opportunities all, it is important gap arising low level conditions be minimized by providing means facilities quality efficient affordable care, roads infrastructure Infrastructural such provision amenities would required close between urban adolescent’s lives terms progress facilitate easy flow information, goods services including people produce them.
